1. Hello my friend, pleasure to have you on Rotten Pages ´zine. How are you doing today? Let us set the scene first. Where do we find you right now? Please describe your surroundings.
We are fine, thanks. We are currently on rehearsal
2. How would you define a band of your nature in terms of appealing to fans of various sub-genres?
We mix different influences like death, black, thrash, punk, a bit of heavy. The vocals are shared between two singers, one growling, and one screaming.
3. When did you initially discover your love for metal, and how has your taste evolved up to present? Has extreme metal influenced or shaped your worldview/world perception in any way?
Every member of the band had his own history with metal, we all came from différents subcultures

4. Please introduce us your self-titled debut demo. And what would you consider the highlights of this demo?
This selftitle E.P is our first record, we choose the 4 tracks that we thought was the most representative of our music. The songs "From love to violence " and "Holocaust " are certainly our highlights
5. What do you consider the strengths of Paradogmata as far as musicians and your death/black metal craft?
Our strength come from our different influences, playing extrem metal with a punk spirit, and, of course, the two different voices are also something that make our identity
6. I must say, the production on your debut demo is quite solid. What can you tell me about the recording process and what kind of sound you were going for? Are you satisfied with final results?
We asked a friend of us, Xavier, to record the E.P, it's was a D.I.Y process, and like a lot of bands, we record drums first, the bass, guitars, leads and then vocals. A classic recording, but with a do it yourself spirit.
7. What is your creative routine? Is there some piece of gear you wouldn’t be able to work without?
The process is quiet simple, playing stuffs and finding some cool riffs
8. You guys are coming from Brittany, France. How is the metal scene over there? Any interesting stuff that fits only French metal culture?
You know, Brittany is appart of the rest of France, almost a country of itself, very historic and with a strong celtic culture, so, it fit well with extrem metal, and we have big metal festivals in Brittany, like Hellfest or Motocultor, so, it's not a bad place to be for a metalhead ^^
9. As a musician, how mandatory is the process of coming up with new ideas or incorporating new influences as opposed to staying within the style you are known for or that you are most familiar with?
The fact that we mix different styles is a good thing to implement new influences, we always say that we play "extrem metal" and not black/death, or death metal or black metal, so, we don't restreign us so mush
10. How much time and effort do you spend on the band to get everything to look and sound the right way?
We rehearsal every two weeks, because of the jobs of the members we can't rehearsal more often, but we try to work a lot by ourselves in our instruments at home every time we could
11. How much fun is it to hear people’s interpretations of what you created, things that you might never ever have dreamed up about the stuff you’ve written?
I don't think we could speak about people interpretation or things like this it's more about seeing people having fun and good time with our music
12. What kind of role do the lyrics play in the concept of REALM OF PERDITIO? How important are they?
Like a lot of bands, we write the lyrics after the music, so, the are focus on the mood of the song, and, with, of course, some personal views,so, it's a total part of our creativity.
13. How does the matter look with concerts in your country at present? Do you play any concerts outside France?
The last 15 years, metal really grew up in France, I mean, there was always a good metal scene, but with the popularity of Hellfest or band like Gojira, there is more and more metal festivals and concerts, but we are a young band (the band, not the musicians 😅), so, it's not that easy to play often, despite of the relative popularity of the genre, it's always a bit difficult for little gigs.
We didn't play yet outside our country, but, some months ago, we played 2 gigs in Brittany with a band from Seattle, Lacabra, and they asked us if we want to come one day in U.S to play with them, it's not the best period to go in United States, but who knows, maybe soon we hope ^^
14. Before we wrap up this interview, I like to thank you for your time into doing this. Any final thoughts or words to the fans reading this?
We like to thank you to give us this chance to appear in your compilation and we hope people will like what we do
Stay fucking brutal and, as we say in Brittany:
Kenavo
